According to a number of tabloid reports, tonight’s new housemate will be non other than Big Brother presenter Davina McCall. Having hosted the show since the first series back in 200, McCall has reportedly begged bosses to let her enter the house as a housemate… but only for a day!

The 42-year-old presenter said: “I’ve watched it so much I reckon I’ve got it down on how to be the perfect housemate.”

Davina will spend a day inside the house as a fully fledged housemate, taking part in tasks and conversing with the other housemates.

Davina’s day inside will not be the first time she has entered the compound this year, as entered during ‘Big Brother 11?s Ignore the Obvious task and inside a chicken costume during Celebrity Big Brother 7.
