Big Brother queen Davina McCall is set to enter the Ultimate BB house for a whole day, according to The Mirror.

The tabloid paper claims that McCall – who has hosted all main and Celebrity series since the first run in 2000 – will appear on the show once again after ‘begging’ producers to put her back in.

However, she will apparently leave before the housemates go to bed in order to honour her husband Matthew’s wish to not let the nation see her sleeping.

Speaking during filming for Alan Carr’s show, Chatty Man, Davina said: “He said, ‘You sleeping is the only bit of you I get to myself’. That’s quite a winner isn’t it.”

She also spoke of her uncertainty about staying on as Big Brother’s host should it move to another channel, saying: “I’ve spent a year saying goodbye and I don’t know if that’s a natural time for me to say goodbye and let somebody else take the helm.”

Davina has entered the house mid-series on two previous occasions.

She dressed up in a chicken costume for a twist following Nicola’s eviction in Celebrity Big Brother in January, while she was also one of the distractions in Big Brother 11?s ‘ignore the obvious’ task.
