New housemate to arrive tonight

by Big Brother Blog on September 3, 2010

Channel 4 has confirmed that one new housemate will enter the Ultimate Big Brother house tonight, only a week before the final.

The newbie – who will be a fully-fledged housemate and eligible to win – will arrive in the house during tonight’s live shows, which will also feature a double eviction. Their identity is yet to be confirmed.

This means that there will be nine housemates in the final week, with only one more live show set to take place before the end of the series. Scheduled for next Wednesday between 9pm-10pm and 11.15pm-11.45pm, it is therefore likely to feature a triple or quadruple eviction.

Tonight’s show will also feature a live performance from Michelle, who will leave the house to sing Pie Jesu to the eviction crowd as part of this week’s shopping task.

Earlier this week, Big Brother narrator Marcus Bentley correctly hinted that a new housemate would enter, with CBB4?s George Galloway suggesting his series-mate Pete Burns would join the show.

Who do you want the newbie to be? Let us know your thoughts below.

Keep it here – we’ll have live coverage of all tonight’s action from 8.00pm!
